It shouldn’t matter as much if the visitor pins this image, as long as you are pinning the Pinterest Optimized images for your posts
The reason that your square or horizontal Facebook image is pinnable – is because Pinterest also uses Facebook’s Open Graph technology the “og:image” meta tag.
